Golden root is a perennial growing up to 35 cm in height. It thrives at elevations over 2,000 m above sea level from the Far East to Turkey and the Alps. It also grows in the Czech Republic, where it is rare and protected. Golden Root prefers rocky soil, but it can be grown in large containers and stone troughs with good drainage. Golden Root affects the cardiovascular system by promoting oxygenation and circulation. It is recommended for maintaining normal digestive function, and it influences physical performance. It also influences the nervous system and cognitive and mental performance. Golden Root calms the emotions, namely by easing stress. It is a known adaptogen and antioxidant.

Recommended dose and instructions: Mix half a teaspoon in water and drink. Use as needed 1–3x per day. Prep TIP: To prevent clumps, mix 1 part powder and 2 parts water and stir into a smooth paste before diluting in liquid.
