The capsules are made from a standardized extract of Chinese caterpillar fungus – Cordyceps sinensis. The extract has a standardized content of polysaccharides and cordycepic acid (D-mannitol).
Cordyceps is a parasitic fungus in the family Ophiocordycipitaceae that attacks insects and other arthropods. It has a very long developmental process, which can take up to six years. Demand for natural cordyceps is currently so high that an artificially cultivated strain, known as CS-4, in now used to make dietary supplements. This strain has very similar effects to the naturally occurring fungus. Cordyceps is used as an effective remedy in both traditional Chinese and Tibetan medicine, where it is considered an essential ingredient.

Contents: 100% Cordyceps sinensis standardized extract (50% polysaccharides, 15% cordycepic acid), 300 mg/capsule. Capsule shell: HPMC (hypromellose). Plant-based capsules suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Recommended dose and instructions: Use 1–2 capsules 2× per day 20 min. before food.
